Bootcamp Hello people,
Just wanted to post a review of the mystery method bootcamp a couple of weeks ago. I am not going to go through eveything that was taught and the structure of the workshop as this has been done in other reviews (basically it consists of three workshops across three days teaching the M3 model and two nights in the field), instead I would like to explain why I think this is the perfect course to take if you want to build a foundation for developing a really solid game.
Hello people,
Just wanted to post a review of the mystery method bootcamp a couple of weeks ago.
I have met a lot of people in the community who say there is no point in taking a bootcamp until they get there game up to speed over a long period of time...this is incredibly nonsensical since the whole point of a bootcamp is to get your game up to speed quickly. More importantly, it will be difficult to get tight game by just aimlessly being in the field and not knowing exactly what your doing or where your going wrong. There may be something to learn from just going out sarging and watching others but this cannot compare to getting direct instruction and feedback from some of the best PUA's in the country. I dont want to try and sound like some expert on playing this game because I certainly am not....currently I AM an AFC, an AFC in recovery but still an AFC. However, I do have some knowledge about the best way to learn things quickly and comprehensively, and that is to take in as much information as you can during a short period and then allow your brain to process this information fully by revising it. A bootcamp will allow you to load yourself with information, and subsequent nights spent in the field will allow you to review what you've learned and then internalise it. From this point of view I would recommend any bootcamp from one of the top schools of instruction.
There are three main reasons why I think the Mystery Method bootcamp is a great one to take;
First, when learning a new skill set it has been proven time and again in psychological experiments that understanding exactly when and where you are making mistakes will rapidly accelerate the learning curve. Whilst any bootcamp will probably arm you with some skill and ability to detect where you are making mistakes the M3 model provides you with a precise framework for understanding stages that you must pass through to get a woman from being uninterested in you to sleeping with you. On the bootcamp you gain a precise understanding of how this sequence is supposed to progress and areas where it can break down, it will give you a far more comprehensive understanding than watching any DVD's or reading any books. With their wealth of experience the instructors can give real life examples of how this progression through the stages should and shouldnt take place. For me personally, I feel that my game is improving rapidly every time I go out and sarge bacause every time a set doesn't progress the way I would like I am able to clearly identify what went wrong and correct it in the next set.
Second, as already mentioned the quality of the instruction is excellent. People who are students of the game in the UK will know that Mystery Method instructors are almost always cited as two of the best PUA's and on top of that they are excellent teachers. I have been in education for a long time and the way they taught in the workshops was as competent as any professional lecturer I have witnessed. Both are very smart and clearly have a wealth of experience in life as well as the game with excellent recomendations for extra-curricular reading and lots of cool stories. Their in-field demonstrations were excellent - seemed to have a super-natural ability to enter a set and have the women literally all over them for as long as they desired.
Third, the whole weekend was really fun. I dont know how much fun other bootcamps are but I can imagine that often it might be very stressfull and serious. With these guys it was just fun and no matter how crap you are to start with the instructers are very down to earth and will completely understand and help you get through it to improve your game. At the start of the first night in the field when everyone was very nervous one of the instructors just said to everyone "lets go and have some fun" and we certainly did. In fact the only time I was told off for anything it was for not smiling and being too serious...I soon loosened up, had fun and my game improved greatly. Having a really good time on a bootcamp and in the field helps to get you in the right frame of mind for future sarges and puts you on the right path to having a great game. Since then, every time I am in the field I remember how much fun it can be to open sets and I adopt a high energy with great effect. I actually saw one of the instructors in the field the other night and he took time out from his girlfriend to come and say hi, all three instructers are genuinely warm people and will make sure you enjoy the bootcamp and enjoy spending time in the field.
I hope someone finds this helpful.
PS Also, bumped into one of the other instructors in the field last night and he also took time out to talk to me (for quite a while actually) and we even did a set together which was cool in terms of understanding mistakes I was making and directly watching him in action..... Like I said before their all sound guys and dedicated to improving other peoples game.
